2. Με τα ταξίδια, το lockdown και τη καραντίνα η προπόνησή μου δεν ήταν καλή και ανησυχούσα ότι δεν θα μπορώ να τερματίσω . Ευτυχώς το σώμα μου δεν με απογοήτευσε, θυμόταν και μπήκε στον αυτόματο πιλότο! Δεν μπορούσα να μην χαμογελάσω με τη θαυμάσια θέα στη θάλασσα. Ήταν μια απίστευτη μέρα! Είμαι Ευγνώμων για την υπέροχη παρέα μου,τη φίλη μου @m_aria.armonea και το ποδήλατο της και τη ξαδέλφη μου @f_ru_tini με το aid station. Ήταν μια μέρα που έτρεξα με την καρδιά μου γεμάτη από χαρά, χωρίς άγχος, μόνο αγάπη. Ευελπιστώ να μοιραστούμε τα μονοπάτια σύντομα και μαζί και να δείτε οι ίδιοι τις ομορφιες του τόπου

What with the travel, quarantine and lockdowns, my training recently has been lacking to say the least so I was feeling a bit nervous as to whether I would be up to the task. Thankfully my body did not disappoint and it remembered what needed to be done and flew on autopilot. I couldn’t help but smile the entire way with the magnificent coastal views. It was a glorious day. Thankful for the awesome support and company on the bike @maria and with the roving aid station my cousin @fwteni. A day of running with my heart full of joy, no stress, only love. I remain hopeful that we can share the trails together again soon and you can experience these wonders for yourself

1. Τους δυο προηγούμενους μήνες ήρθαν στη ζωή μου τα πάνω κάτω! Προσπαθώ να πάρω λίγο τον έλεγχο για να ηρεμήσω το κακό στο νου μου. Visa, covid και brexit προκλήσεις. Το μόνο φως μέσα σε όλα αυτά είναι ότι βρίσκομαι πάλι στην αγαπημένη μου Ελλάδα ❤️

Χρειαζόμουν μια πρόκληση ως κίνητρο να με βοηθήσει με την αλλαγή. Επειδή ακυρώθηκαν οι αγώνας, αποφάσισα να τρέξω από την Ακρόπολη στην Αθήνα ως τον ναό του Ποσειδωνα στο Σουνιο. 38 μίλια 61χμ. Ζήσε χαρούμενα Τρέχα στην Ελλάδα !

These last 2 months have been tumultuous to say the least with my life being turned upside down and me striving to take some sort of control to quieten the demons in my head. Visa issues, covid challenges and brexit repercussions. The one shining light through all of this is that I find myself unexpectedly home in my beloved Greece ❤️

Needing a challenge to help motivate myself through this period of change, and with races being cancelled, I decided to run from the Acropolis in the centre of Athens to Poseidon’s temple in Sounion on the coast. 38miles / 61km #LiveHappyRunGreece
