Running found me when I was in the middle of a life changing event. It gave me purpose when I was lost, it brought me peace when I was confused, it encouraged me to lead a healthier lifestyle, it allowed me some control amidst chaos, it inspired me to be a better person, it challenged and motivated me, it took me to new places, it provided me with a whole new community and lifelong friends. My life is forever evolving and running is a constant that continues to enrich and fulfill me. It motivates me to get out of bed in the morning, it motivates me to push myself, it motivates me to be the best version of myself. It strengthens not only my body but also my mind. It brings such joy, to run free in nature, I feel like I am the luckiest girl alive. Running always has something to teach me whether it be about myself, others, the environment, health, life or how to be a better human. I am constantly amazed by the kindness and open heartedness, the toughness and camaraderie of the community and am often humbled and always grateful. I don’t know why or how I found running so late in life but you’d better believe I plan to have it long into my future and that is why I train. I want to invest in my body today to reap the rewards down the line. To continue to be strong both physically and mentally so that I may remain active and healthy for all the days to come

I love learning new things. Especially when it pus

I love learning new things. Especially when it pushes me outside of my comfort zone and forces me to face my fears. I have tried many things to conquer my fear of heights over the years from parachute jumps, paragliding and even a bungee jump. I have learned that while I haven’t been able to overcome my fear I will not let it control me

I am having so much fun learning to rock climb, stretching my runners body in ways I didn’t think possible, pushing my limits and of course being outside all day.. but most of all I love the social aspect, teamwork and trust

What I love about climbing is when I am up there, it’s just me and the wall, a problem to solve. No room for anything else to be going on in my mind. I switch off completely and am 100% focused
